Exhibit highlights work of Halifax-based Parkinsonian

Halifax-based artist Brant Murray will be displaying his artwork at the Anna Leonowens Gallery located at 1895 Granville Street, in Halifax.

Murray, who lives with Parkinson's, finds that creating art helps to calm his mind and body. The group exhibit, titled NightShift 2010 runs from May 25-29, 11am-5pm. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in to get a glimpse of his work, and that of the exhibit's other featured artists, all from the NS College of Art & Design's Extended Studies programs.

We will be profiling Murray's work in the coming weeks, be sure to keep an eye on our homepage to learn of the work he's doing, and to learn more on the benefits of painting for people living with Parkinson's.
