Online Registration is now open for Parkinson’s SuperWalk 2013!
The Parkinson’s SuperWalk is the largest fundraising event in Canada benefiting people living with Parkinson’s. The walk takes place in 90 communities across Canada during the weekends of September 7-8, and 14-15. This year’s SuperWalk goal is to raise $3.3 million.
The funds raised in Canada stay in Canada and are used to provide education and support for over 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson’s. The Parkinson’s Society has raised over $20 million to fund vital research, education, support, and advocacy since 1990.
The Parkinson Society Maritime Region currently boasts 18 walks to help support 8,400 Maritimers living with Parkinson’s. For more information on your region’s SuperWalk and how to get involved, please visit Parkinson's Superwalk 2013.

Scotiabank's Atlantic Dealer Finance Centre Supports the Parkinson Society Maritime Region
Steve Tysnki, Director and Centre Manager of Scotiabank's Atlantic Dealer Finance Centre, and a team from his business unit ran in support of Parkinson's at the 10th Annual Blue Nose Marathon, sponsored by Scotiabank. Their team raised over $6,500.00. Congratulations!
The runners have designated the funds they raise to benefit the Parkinson Society Maritime Region. Online donations are still being accepted until June 30th, and they are asking for the public's support and the help of the broader Parkinson Community. The Annual General Meeting of the Parkinson Society Maritime Region
The Parkinson Society Maritime Region thanks all chapters, support groups, and members in attendance at our Annual General Meeting held at the Mariott Courtyard Hotel in Halifax on May 25th, 2013.

World Parkinson's Congress
