We are pleased to announce the formation of a support group for people living with Parkinson’s in the greater Antigonish area.

A Parkinson’s Support Group is a source of information. Our groups are run by and for people living with Parkinson’s. Monthly sessions are free to attend and often include guest speakers. Our members enjoy sharing ideas, experiences and information. Family members, caregivers and friends are all welcome.

The group will hold a meeting in August to determine interest and organizers would love to see you there. PSMR Volunteer Steve Willumsen, of Antigonish, has taken on much of the planning of what we hope to be the start of a successful support group.
