A week has passed and pledges continue to come in for the Vogue Optical Parkinson SuperWalk, with the tally currently standing just shy of $200,000. This year's event saw 17 Maritime locations take on the challenge of organizing and garnering support for our biggest annual fundraiser.

The opportunity to unite and walk before our communities gave hundreds of Maritimes reason come out September 11 and 12. At each Walk a procession of children, parents, grandparents, friends and collegues, clad in dinsinctive blue t-shirts flooded the streets and left an impression on all those they passed.

Parkinson Society Maritime Region would like to take the opportunity to thank those who participated in this year's walk and who helped to ensure its continued success.

To those who gathered pledges and braved our region's unpredictable weather, thank you for dedicating your time toward helping our cause.

To those individuals who donated, we exist because of your support. Your contribution is very much appreciated.
